Cornea is the transparent front part of the eye. Inflammation, infection, injuries and other disorder of cornea can cause visual impairment. Cornea service is supported by attached Ocular Microbiological Laboratory. Eye bank and Tissue Processing Service. Adequate trained staffs and modern equipments are integral part of cornea service. The service provides facilities to deal with corneal infections of various nature, dry eyes and other corneal disorders. Besides, different surgical procedure like Amniotic Membrane graft, Keratoplasty, Limbal transplants etc are routinely performed.
