The out-patient department (OPD) provides services to around one thousand patients a day. Patients are treated in OPD on ‘first come first serve’ basis. Option for advance registration within a maximum period of 2 weeks is also available. Besides providing routine treatment to the patients, facilities for day surgeries are also there. In addition to subspecialty services like Glaucoma, Surgical & Medical Vitreo-Retina, Paediatric Ophthalmology, Cornea, Oculoplasty etc. the department also provides one stop cataract service. To cope with the increasing and varied load of patients, CEITC has started Express service.
