Research at CEITC
The institute attaches special importance to undertake research in major blinding eye diseases in this country. To accomplish this work, Dr. Ahamadur Rahman Research Centre has been established which has a panel of professional researchers headed by Prof. A.H.G. Quddus (Former Professor, Dept. of Sociology, Chittagong University), as an Honorary Director of the centre. Prof. Rabiul Husain is the chief adviser.
The research centre brings out its annual journal 'HORIZON' (ISSN 2070 190X) in which the research activities of the institute are published. The centre also helps ophthalmologists publish their articles in national and international journals. The institute maintains strong links with a number of reputed institutions globally and several collaborative studies have been undertaken.
